Shamit Khemka has always been genuinely
concerned about the Indian cultural heritage and its future in modern
society. As a founder of an IT company, SynapseIndia, he is well
aware of how technological advancements impacts society. At the same
time, the IT leader has also learned how to leverage technology to
sustain the precious intangible elements of society.
His keenness about doing something to
ensure the sustainability of the great Indian culture triggered his
association with Eternal Hindu Foundation. Eventually, he was
selected as a mentor of the Foundation. As a mentor to EHF, he is
responsible for overseeing the digital and technical strategies.
Shamit Khemka guides several
initiatives of the Foundation, such as Shashwat Bharatam. It is a
digital initiative aimed at increasing awareness of Hinduism and its
essence. A number of social programs have already been launched under
the auspices of Shashwat Bharatam. For example, programs like “Do
Ghante Mandir Ke Naam” allow people to contribute to their
community through volunteering.
